3D Robots and Family Blogging @ Power Learners

Last week, Digital Families headed to Power Learners in Southbourne. We carried out a workshop with five families in which they used an app called ThingMaker to produce their own 3D robots. These were then printed during the week to be given back to the families.

During the workshop, the families were also faced with the task of setting up their own WordPress blogs, learning how to customise the design, edit pages and even write their very first blog post. Most of the families had never used WordPress before but they all enjoyed the session and were successfully navigating the site’s dashboard by the end of the workshop.
